Students and staff at Manor CE Academy have packed up and sent off shoebox Christmas gifts to children and young people in Romania, who wouldn’t otherwise receive any presents at Christmas.
Manor CE Academy has a long-standing relationship with the “Cry in the Dark” charity, which supports children and young people in Romania who were orphaned, need hospice care or who are on the margins of society. The gifts they collect are for named individuals.
Principal Simon Barber said: “I am really proud of our relationship with Cry in the Dark who are a wonderful Christian charity doing so much good in Romania. The amount of boxes collected this year was amazing.”
