At Newland St John’s CE Academy, children come first, and we do all that we can to help them to meet their full potential. We have a firm focus on developing children’s basic skills, and do this in the context of an exciting, thematic curriculum. Our strong staff team provides a learning environment where children are cared for, make good progress and have high standards of behaviour.
As well as close links with our parish church, St John Newland, being part of a multi-academy trust means that we belong to a group of schools and academies focussed and motivated to work together to improve outcomes for children, under the oversight of the Diocese of York Educational Trust.
