I’ve sailed all my life; I got into it because my mum and dad had done it previously. Over the last five or six years, I’ve been going round the country sailing in national and international events. I’ve just started sailing in two new classes, so I’m doing pretty well. I recently won the U16 national European championship.

I want to carry on competing. I’d love to get to the Olympics and reach my full potential in sailing. The people at school are great and support me if I need to take time off if I have a long journey to get to a competition – they give me work to do so I don’t miss out!
