A record number of students from the Archbishop Sentamu Academy in Hull attended Hull Minster recently for a graduation ceremony to mark and celebrate their achievements.
Graduating with a range of A Levels and BTEC Level 3 qualifications, the class of 2021 are going on to further and higher education and apprenticeships. Degree studies being pursued include Criminology, Sports Coaching, English, Law, Forensic Science and Mental Health Nursing.
Principal, Mr Chay Bell said, “At Archbishop Sentamu Academy we aim to provide our young people with a positive vision of all that their lives could be, so I am delighted to see the class of 2021, taking the next step in their journeys. It has been an honour to have them at the Academy these last seven years!”
Mrs K Hill, Head of Sixth Form said, “This year, we are celebrating the graduation of 32 talented and independent young people. They have achieved so much during their time at ASA and it is a true privilege to see them reach their full potential. I wish them every success for the future”.
Graduating student, Max Day, said, “I have massively enjoyed my time at ASA largely due to the many opportunities I have been offered, from going to Australia on a Rugby Tour to performing at the Royal Albert Hall. It has been an overall great experience in my time at the Academy which has helped me grow both academically and as a person, all thanks to the wonderful staff and support offered”.
