As a Trust, we want every young person to experience great teaching. As we say in the Ebor Hope Teaching Schools Alliance – great teaching changes lives.

We are therefore committed to Initial Teacher Training and we have an ongoing commitment to enhancing the next generation of church and community school leaders, demonstrated by the creation and delivery of our leadership programmes.

Being part of a Trust provides plentiful opportunities to work with partner schools. Younger colleagues wanting a safe journey into leadership can learn from experienced leaders in a professional setting, gathering the skills and knowledge they need to go on to substantive posts in our schools. We believe leadership of the future will be based on many different models, resulting in great leaders working across schools, sharing expertise and best practice and driving change within the Trust. The Board will always oversee the Trust’s activities, but it is our school leaders on whom we rely heavily to provide energy and direction.

We are there to challenge but most importantly support each other. No one should feel isolated and on their own.
