Vale of York Academy are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to work with teachers to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff, and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan with access to support and guidance as required.
This role will work within the classroom or appropriate area of the school site to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for individuals or small groups under an agreed system of supervision.
