At Aspire Academy, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum where students study National Curriculum subjects at Key Stage 3 and a range of GCSEs and Vocational qualifications at Key Stage 4. Through modified learning approaches, intense learning packages and excellent facilities, we aim to bring students’ learning back on track and accelerate progress.
We are currently looking to recruit a teacher to work in a generalist capacity within the team at Aspire. If you have experience of planning and delivering engaging lesson plans, strong behaviour management skills and have a desire to make a difference, we would like to hear from you. School visits from potential candidates welcome. Salary is dependent on current qualifications and experience, please see job description for more information.
We currently support and educate nearly 300 students and see the development of the whole child as our core purpose. Since opening in 2014, Aspire has expanded rapidly and strongly. We support and work with over 25 secondary schools across five Local Authorities.
We are an Alternative Provision Academy that serves vulnerable students within Hull and the East Riding. Our main sites are situated in East Hull, very close to the border with the East Riding.
Our students are taught in a range of specifically designed buildings including a new £3.2 million building. The Academy has been purposely designed to meet the needs of our students. We have an innovative approach to learning and teaching and aim to ensure that the learning experience for our students is one that is tailored in a way that ensures progress.
We enjoy working with a large range of professionals to support our students and we are always keen to forge partnerships. We see ourselves as being at the cutting edge of educational provision and individual development.
